ESLS Employer Process: Local Recruitment & Imported Labour, Step by Step
The full ESLS process: check post applicability, choose form ESLS-1A or 1B, pass preliminary screening, complete local open recruitment and job advertising, then Labour Department assessment with Labour Advisory Board input, through to workers' arrival.
Employers should first check whether the post is covered by ESLS, use the latest common-post or non-common-post application form, and prepare business, vacancy, wage and local recruitment information.
After local open recruitment, the Labour Department decides whether to approve or refuse the application, taking into account the application data and Labour Advisory Board members' views.
