ESLS Application Process

Hong Kong employers' ESLS application in 6 steps: confirm the post, choose form ESLS-1A/1B, preliminary screening, local open recruitment, assessment and approval, visa and arrival — covering catering, property security, hotel and technical trades. Eligible Hong Kong employers should use form ESLS-1A for common posts or ESLS-1B for non-common posts, and submit the latest forms, annexes and supporting documents.

Local open recruitment takes place only after preliminary screening. After recruitment, the Labour Department assesses the application data, recruitment results and Labour Advisory Board members' views.
